Group Project Assignments and Schedules

Congratulations on choosing your topic for your midterm group projects! You are all going to learn so much as you become experts on YOUR CHOICE of technology. You may use the examples I provided in the CALL Topic Overview PPT, or you can choose another suitable resource.

As I mentioned in class, you will be required to:

1. Analyze the technology you are introducing us to. I will provide you with a form that we will learn how to fill out in the next class. This form can be submitted one week after your presentation.

2. Explain how to implement the technology. Tell us how it can be successfully incorporated into the classroom. What devices is it available on, how much does it cost, what does the teacher need to prepare, etc.?

3. Teach us how to utilize the technology. You will introduce the technology to the class. After you explain how to implement it, you will give us a task to accomplish/complete, using the technology. For example, if you are teaching us Surveys and Assessments, you may have us create a quiz on Socrative.com.

Here is the rubric I will use to assess your project. https://www.dropbox.com/s/13jkokjnbswqp6h/Group%20Project%20Rubric.pdf

I look forward to participating in your presentations and us all learning so much each week!
